B&S Group is seeking a dynamic and strategic Financial Controller to oversee financial operations within our Government & Defense (G&D) business along with wider overview of overall business segments. This role requires a results-driven professional with strong expertise in financial modeling, audit, and reporting, and the ability to drive financial performance in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial governance, compliance, and risk management, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare weekly and monthly management reports for the Government & Defense business and other segments, including forecast and budgets.
  • Develop and implement advanced financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning. 
  • Handle the month-end and year-end closing for assigned locations and entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of Balance Sheet & P&L.
  • Provide financial analysis to support business decision-making, such as cost-benefit analysis, ROI, and profitability assessments.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Develop strong working relationship with business partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; CPA, ACCA, or CFA preferred. 
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a financial controller role or audit role. Strong expertise in financial modeling, audit, and financial reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, financial regulations, and risk management principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a results-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage.
