Are you ready to take your first steps into the world of purchasing at an international, publicly traded company? As an Entry-Level Purchase Manager, you'll learn everything you need to grow into a full-fledged Purchase Manager. Does this sound like the right challenge for you?
Reach your full potential as Entry-Level Purchase Manager
You will join a dynamic Purchase team that is responsible for the purchasing of our products. You play a crucial role in ensuring the availability of our A-brands such as Hersheys, Haribo and Coca cola under the best conditions, without losing sight of quality and delivery reliability. Here you will have the opportunity to manage your own purchasing area, while we guide you to independence in your role. This means that as a buyer you are independently responsible for a specific part of the purchasing process.
What will you do?
You’ll start with an informative onboarding period to learn about our processes, products, and markets. As you progress, you’ll take on more responsibilities:
- Developing strategy: Once you’ve mastered the basics, you’ll collaborate with your manager to create a strategy for your product-market combination. You’ll learn how to select suppliers and handle negotiations.
- Expanding your network: You’ll maintain relationships with current suppliers and actively build new ones. Initially, most contact will be digital or over the phone, but later you’ll travel internationally.
- Order management: You’ll register and process purchase orders accurately, ensuring a smooth order process from start to finish.
This role is perfect if you’re a recent graduate or have up to one year of work experience and a commercial mindset. You thrive on variety, are eager to learn, and are excited to develop your skills in an international environment.
