About the role
Are you an experienced data management professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for FMCG?
As Head of Data Management, you will ensure that data plays a strategic role in our international trade and
distribution processes. You will build a strong team, develop the data strategy, and translate it into concrete projects that impact our commercial, logistics, and procurement activities worldwide.
What will you do?
- Lead and develop an international data management team.
- Shape the organizational structure, roles, and reporting lines within the team.
- Establish and implement policies for data quality, validation, and standardization.
- Take ownership of the master data management process for product data (including the PIM system).
- Collaborate intensively with internal stakeholders such as Purchasing, Logistics, Sales, and IT.
- Actively participate in external data initiatives, including GS1.
- Optimize the product data process throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Facilitate data structures that support omnichannel distribution (retail, e-commerce, B2B).
- Develop data roadmaps and change strategies towards 2030.
- Lead international implementation projects in the field of data management systems.
What do you bring?
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Information, Data Management, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
- At least 7 years of experience in data management within FMCG, wholesale, or retail, preferably with international scope.
- Proven experience with PIM/MDM systems and data quality strategies.
- Familiarity with GS1 standards and FMCG supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
