Reach your full potential as a purchase and sales intern
Do you already know how exciting the purchasing field can be? During your studies, you might hear a lot about marketing and sales, but the game on the other side of the table might be even more strategic and fun. Our A-brands team is in daily contact with many brands to create the best partnerships and deals. By becoming part of this team, you'll see what it takes to collaborate with these brands and support them in the process.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated intern to join our commercial team. You will take on a variety of tasks and work independently from day one, of course with the right guidance. This is your chance to learn more about the dynamic world of our sector and make a real impact!
You are energetic, enthusiastic, and eager to learn more about the purchasing and sales process within an international environment. You are always up to date with what's happening in the world and curious about the trends and developments in international trade. Additionally, you enjoy doing analytical work and diving into the numbers. You are critical and like to share your ideas with the team and get started!
You:
Proactive, able to work independently, and show initiative by asking questions
Strong social skills (customer-focused, listening, convincing, and results-oriented)
Enthusiastic and eager to learn
Affinity with sales, negotiations, and exploring new relationships/opportunities in Europe
Accuracy/perfectionism for administrative tasks such as entering purchase orders and processing commercial reports
Studying a commercial/economic program at the HBO or WO level
We offer you
- An internship compensation of €500 gross per month, this is an all- in compensation (based on a 40-hour workweek and HBO/WO level).
- Internship of 40 hours per week (fewer hours subject to consultation)
- A place in our young, ambitious and fast-growing team.
- Fun! We regularly free up some time for drinks or games at the department.
- Working partly from home is an option if your duties allow it.
- A great opportunity. Show your best side, and there might be a future for you at B&S. But first; let’s get that diploma!
