Do you want to play a crucial role in ensuring that our daily activities run smoothly? We are looking for a Facility Service Desk Employee who knows how to take initiative and sees challenges as opportunities to solve problems before they even arise. In this role you are constantly on the move and responsible for maintaining a pleasant, safe and efficient working environment. As the facility contact point, you work closely with both internal colleagues and external partners to ensure that our services and processes continue to run optimally.
Reach your full potential as Facility Service Desk Employee
As a Facility Service Desk Employee you are the link between the facilities department and the rest of the organization. You are responsible for managing and resolving reports within our Facility Management Information System (FMIS), whereby you assess the urgency of the reports and quickly communicate with both your colleagues and external suppliers. A notification is received by email or by telephone. You look at all applications critically and use your knowledge to assess how and who can best solve the application. You are the director and keep colleagues informed of progress. You deploy the facilities team's own employees and external suppliers where necessary. You check the work delivered (based on the contracts) and ultimately the associated invoices.
You also ensure that daily operational activities run smoothly, such as planning and coordinating maintenance and supervising partners on location.
You are involved in safety aspects such as carrying out daily checks in the security system, and you take an active role in construction and renovation projects. You also provide on-call services, for which an appropriate fee obviously applies. Your task package consists of:
- Addressing and resolving facility malfunctions and reports in our FMIS;
- Monitoring the quality of the facility business process and services at operational level;
- Managing the planning of maintenance work at various locations;
- Active role in Safety & Security, such as daily checks in the security system and accessibility services;
- Act as an emergency response officer within the team.
This is you
You are a true coordinator with technical insight and strong communication skills. Your focus is on handling and delegating tasks, coordinating with external parties, and ensuring agreements are followed. Hands-on work is minimal, but you understand what’s needed to solve problems and support colleagues when necessary. With your independence, solution-oriented approach, and sense of priorities, you ensure everything runs smoothly.
You:
- Have completed training at MBO 4 level in a technical or facility direction;
- Have approximately 3 years of work experience in a comparable, technically related position;
- Have a good command of the Dutch language;
- You are looking for a full-time job (40 hours per week);
- Are willing to work on-call shifts, with appropriate compensation.
We offer you:
You get the opportunity to push your boundaries in a dynamic environment. In addition to a challenging position, we offer:

- Initially, a one-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment
- 25 vacation days, with the possibility to purchase additional days
