The Works Council has a say in major policy decisions. First and foremost, it represents the interests of the employees, but it also considers the organisation’s interests. Examples of matters in which the Works Council has been involved in recent years include changes in the terms of employment, the new pension scheme, appointments of confidential counsellors and prevention officers, Risk Inventories and Evaluations, refinancing requests, reorganisations, and many more.The Works Council obtains information, consults with management, submits proposals, and provides solicited and unsolicited advice. The Works Council issues an annual report for the employees, where you can read about past and future activities.
